When do tickets go on sale? |
You can may purchase tickets at our annual kick-off event held in August. This is HEAR's first meeting of the fiscal year when we process memberships, announce events, and sell tickets and HEAR Gear.
2024 tickets will be $17/seat and sold through August 29th. Children one and under are free if they sit in your lap. You must purchase a ticket if you'd like a seat for your little one. When signing up for tickets on the HEAR sheet, do not include free tickets in your count. |
When should I pay for my tickets & how? |
We will sell tickets up until a stated deadline. We do not reserve tickets based on a stated commitment to purchase tickets. Only those who actually pay will receive tickets.
Payment: You may pay at our kick-off meeting, through PayPal, or send your payment to the HEAR address (PO Box 792 Roxboro, NC 27573). Checks should be made payable to HEAR. Please write in the memo line of your check the event and number of tickets. You should also put the member's name if someone is writing the check on your behalf. Tickets may also be paid for through PayPal. Send money to [email protected]. Be sure to denote that it's for Disney on Ice. Also, please sign up on our Member Page so we know to be excepting your payment. You may pay lump sum payments (include it with other HEAR events/items) but please denote in notes/memo the payment for each event/item. |
Whom should I pay? |
The HEAR Finance Director (see our Board of Directors page) will accept your payment. Please remember that all our members are volunteers and are managing their own schools & families, therefore they may not check our mailbox daily or answer/return emails or calls on a moment's notice. Many of our volunteers work and travel.

Who may buy tickets? |
Tickets are available for purchase to HEAR members only. HEAR members may bring non HEAR members as guest, but tickets should be purchased by the HEAR member.
|
May I bring a family member or friend? |
Tickets are available for purchase to HEAR members only. HEAR members may bring non HEAR members as guest but tickets should be purchased by the HEAR member.
|
May I request to sit with another member? |
Managing the number of tickets purchased is a huge task. Our event coordinator will try his/her best to group families together. It is best to purchase tickets together if you would like to sit as a group. Also, we are allowed to move around within our group seats. So please be accommodating by being willing to swap seats.
|
Can I get more tickets, change my tickets? |
Once it is announced that tickets are sold out or the deadline is passed, we are not able to purchase more tickets or make adjustments. You may ask on our HEAR Facebook if someone is willing to sell or exchange tickets with you.
Also, it is the responsibility of each member to verify his/her payment was received and that the correct number of tickets are purchased on his/her behalf. Emails will be sent out often listing those who has purchased tickets and how many. Please verify your ticket count and always keep HEAR informed of any email changes. |
When & how will I get my tickets? |
Those who purchased tickets will be sent an email notifying them when tickets are available for pick-up. The ticket vendor will not send out tickets until approximately three weeks before the event. The event coordinator will sort the tickets and then email you once they are ready to be picked up. The email will include the place and time tickets are available for pick up.
Please make every effort to pick up tickets then. Again, our HEAR leaders, directors and event coordinators are volunteers who also manage their homes and schools plus HEAR duties - many work outside of the home as well. Please make it easier on them to coordinate events by picking up tickets timely. It places additional work on them to meet families at special locations and times. |
Will we be riding together? |
You can view a list of those who purchased tickets on the Member Page of our site to see if you would like to carpool with fellow members. Coordinating carpooling will be up to each member and not the responsibility of the event coordinator. Many members who attend events drive separately so they may run errands in the area after the event. Carpooling does save on parking fees, though!
